Example: GMN gap seal with O-ring
For slightly higher temperatures than the limit of 60° C (170° F) up to 80° C (200°F) we offer a special design with "O"-rings at the inner and/or outer ring to increase the reliability of the press fit.

Background: Due to the decreasing stiffness at higher temperatures there is a risk that the gap seal cannot keep any longer the necessary press fit, especially in the area of the outer ring.
